There are a lot of moments during my day at work when my computer is busy processing, and during that time I tend to doodle a little. This was one of my last doodles I decided to colour.

Sanchez's Hulk Colored

Alright, so I'm sure everyone already knows who Steve Sanchez is. Not only is he a great help for all budding artists, but he's a great guy. He was kind enough to let me collab with him on this piece i.e. he was kind enough to send me the high res pic and let me slap some colors on it. For those who don't know who he is... shame on you and go check out his page right away!

This was a new challenge, working over loose pencils, I thought about just using the pencils as guidlines and working it more like a painting, but with such a great sketch I decided to keep the loose line mixed with the painted colors.

Done in Photoshp PS 2 in roughly 4 hours (Always hard to tell because I never manage to paint from start to finish without stopping to do other things)

X-men 190 Colored

Here's my version of the X-men cover pencilled by Chris Bachalo and Inked by Tim Townsend. Tim has been a great help in my evolution and I always love to color his inks.

I know it's very different from the original cover, but this is my version of the way I would have colored it.

Done in about 2 hours in Photoshop CS2

Estava a actualizar o meu portfolio e lembrei-me que ainda não tinha colocado nenhuns dos meus trabalhos mais antigos, por isso aqui vai o primeiro.
Fui feito com lapiseira em papel A4. Foi um estudo para um projeto que comecei quando ainda estava na escola de belas artes.

So I was updating my portfolio and remembered that I hadn't posted any of my old work, so here goes the first one. All was done with a clutch pencil on A4 paper. This was a study for a project that I started when I was still in Art school.

Udon's Sultan Efreet Colored

Aqui vai a minha tentantiva de colorir seguindo os concelhos e o walkthrough do Pixelisedmind's no DA. Ele fui uma grande ajuda, e eu goseti muito de alguns dos efeitos desta nova têcnica. Aqui está um desenho que eu fiz recentmente utilizando uma escultara como refrência. Eu vi a escultura no DA e gostei tanto que decidi que tinha que o desenhar e aproveitei para também praticar. Here is a tutorial I put together on how I did the colors on the Daredevil/Elektra piece. This is just one of the many processes and techniques that I use.
